Yee-Haw Texas!

Jeremy and Sarah got married for time and all eternity in the Dallas Temple on October 23. I can not say enough how happy I am for Jeremy and how happy I am to have Sarah as a sister. She is so sweet and kind, perfect for Jeremy. We are excited to watch their love grow in marriage. Texas was beautiful!!! The homes, the green trees and grass oh how I miss that being in AZ. It was a very fun trip even with all the moving around. We stayed there 5 nights and stayed in 4 hotels due to the fact that Sarah lives about 3 hours from the airport. I was so proud of my family getting around in a timely manner with all our kids who make timed appointments very difficult at times. We played games, bowled, went to a carnival, ate at the best Texas restaurant, but most important got to see Sarah and Jeremy make the best choice of their lives!

Almost here!

I can not even believe or even want to believe that it has almost been a year since I had our little Devin. It really does go by fast but still when I think about what your body goes through I still feel like I was just there. As you know Devin was born on the 24 of October at 2am. He almost shared a birthday with Michelle but I guess he wanted his own. I didn't really get to enjoy Halloween (my favorite) last year due to pain but this Halloween I have been planing and waiting for since the last. Despite JC getting mad at me every time I talk about it he did help me put up some of my decorations. I knew last year that I wanted to have a Devin/Halloween party and for it to be a pirate party. I got all of our pirate costumes and looked up lots of party and cake ideas. Devin's costume was way too big so I had to sew it up and I was pretty proud of myself. The cake well... what can I say but I'm not Scott. With lots of tries I'm sure it will turn out some what OK...I hope. So here's a little preview to the party.

Anthony and Adam

For a while I have been able to watch my nephews. This has been so great for Devin. He loves when they are at our house and he has been learning a lot of things that I think some times a first child would not normally get. Our days are fun and crazy together. I started loading them all up in the stroller and walking down to the church where I get together with an exercise group. Anthony dances around while the two little ones eat snacks in the stroller. At the end we walk back and take a well needed nap. After that its whatever we want to play. Sometimes when its crazy I think ahhhh how am I going to have more kids but at those moments I say a prayer and I hear the words you can do it. Thanks to Heavenly Fathers strength I am ready for the next.

My very first post!

I am so excited I finally am doing it, starting my blog! I met my husband JC in the singles ward. We dated and were married August 23 2008. Soon after we started our family and it has begun with our sweet little boy, Devin. He was born on October 24 2009. This blog will be a little record of our lives and I hope any and all how read it enjoy.
